Job Summary
The Human Resources Manager coordinates organization activities related to human resources and industrial relations functions. Jersey Shore Steel Company offers excellent benefits and is seeking a professional to join the management team. This positions oversees Human Resource responsibilities at both the Jersey Shore and Montoursville locations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Identifies training needs and coordinates organizational development

• Annually reviews benefit programs and proposals

• Acts as administrator for 401K and pension plans

• Continually establish, review, and implement Company policies, procedures, and practices

• Responsible for compliance and staying informed of Federal and State laws

• Coordinate the performance review process and provide education and coaching to others

• Supervises the ESM and oversees safety performance and management at both locations

• Coaches employees and conducts or oversees disciplinary actions

• Conducts investigations when needed

• Responsible for labor relations at two locations

• Coordinates the hiring process from recruiting to on-boarding

• Is an active participant on the management team and assist in carrying out management duties related to Human Resources.

• Supervises members in the Human Resource department

Experience and Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree required

• SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP preferred

• 7-10+ years’ experience in an Human Resource position in a Union / Manufacturing environment experience required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
